Massa appointed for England–Spain

Confirmed on 24 September: Davide Massa will referee Spain’s Nations League opener against England at Wembley on Saturday.

Context

The match opens both teams’ campaign in Group A3, alongside Croatia and Czechia. Spain return to competition after the World Cup. The refereeing appointment is today’s development; the match has not been played. The photograph recalls July’s celebrations and does not depict this training camp.
