Palmeiras 2026: blue connects with Italian roots

Palmeiras and PUMA unveiled a blue third shirt on 21 August 2026 celebrating the club’s Italian roots and twenty years since Italy’s 2006 World Cup title.

A closer look at the design

The photograph shows a white cross on a red shield centred on the chest. The gold PUMA cat and sponsor sit below. A V-neck and side panels keep blue in the leading role.

The vertical arrangement encourages the eye to read the symbol before the brands. The shield’s white and red stand out strongly against a background with few changes in colour.

The design in context
