The Mexican coach’s appointment was announced on the 23rd; today brought his first session on the pitch. Toni Amor and Pol Llorente are part of his staff. The international break gives him time to assess the squad, assign roles and prepare for LaLiga’s return. The session starts a new chapter; it does not yet provide results by which to judge it.
