Kofane will miss several weeks, Bayer 04 announced on 8 October.
Context
The striker arrived from Albacete in July 2025 and signed until 2029. His absence reduces the team’s attacking options. This Bayer Leverkusen 2025/26 shirt is the 2025-26 design, rather than the current season’s kit.
What comes next
Next come Mainz on Saturday 10 October at 15:30 CEST. Both sides have seven points after four games. The club has not specified a day for the striker’s return.
